Zoey is a grown-up, but she still has more questions than answers. She also feels like she knew something important when she was a kid, something that she has forgotten. So Zoey time travels in her mind, digging and scraping and scooping up old sticks and bones. She sometimes puts these in her stories.

Zoey is a graduate in Women's Studies and History from Smith College. She spent four years living and painting in Japan. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, kids and a large dog named Carrots.

Zoey has had the pleasure of collaborating

on books with these publishers:

Kids Can Press

Abrams Books for Young Readers

Tundra Books

Enchanted Lion Books

Chronicle Books

Harper Collins Books

Holiday House Books
